Teenage Victim ID'd In Fatal Atlantic City Shooting, 2 Women Wounded, Prosecutor Says

Atlantic County detectives are investigating a shooting that left one man dead and two women wounded, authorities said.

At 10:38 p.m., Monday, Atlantic City police responded to a ShotSpotter alert near Pennsylvania and Magellan Avenues, according to the Atlantic County prosecutor's office.

Officers found a 19- year-old man and two 21-year-old female victims, suffering from gunshot wounds, according to Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner.

The three shooting victims were taken to the Atlanticare Regional Medical Center City Campus to be treated for injuries, the prosecutor said.

One of the shooting victims, 19 year-old Samir Ross of Atlantic City was pronounced dead at the hospital, Tyner said.
